The tag line for the global Messy Church movement is “Church, but not as you know it.” At Messy Church, all ages meet together to learn about Christ through games, crafts and activities, music, and storytelling from the Bible. A foundational ingredient of Messy Church is to gather around a table for a snack or meal and build relationships with each other, God, and the world. 

To learn more about Messy Church, we’ve invited Aaron Jenkyn to join us and share her knowledge. Aaron was the lay missioner at Epiphany Church in Newport, where she led Messy Church, eventually drawing a large number of people from the community on Saturday evenings.

We’ll provide a light supper. Please join us for the conversation. No commitment, just information about Messy Church, a way of being church based on the values of intergenerational celebration, creativity, hospitality, and centering ourselves in Christ.
