Children and Youth Programs

We welcome families and children of all ages.  We have have spiritually oriented programs tailored to the needs and interests of children

Nursery - On Sundays, we have nursery care available for infants and young children during the 10 am service.  Your children are also welcome at the service.

Church School - For kindergarten through 5th grade children, we have a structured program during the first half of the 10 am service providing bible stories as well as activities.  Our 6th grade through high school students use the Journey to Adulthood Program (J2A), a highly acclaimed integrated Episcopal curriculum.  The program includes youth group meetings and discussion as well as community service.

“Be doers of the word, not merely hearers.” (James 1:22)

Our children and young adults regularly demonstrate their “faith in action” through their involvement in a variety of community partnership ministries including: collecting money for and taking part in our local Crop Walk; holiday shopping for their peers in the Children of Incarcerated Prisoners (ChIPs) program; nursing home visits; and worshipping with and serving lunch to the homeless through Ecclesiastic Ministries Common Cathedral in Boston or volunteering at a local soup kitchen. Many of our high school aged students have also participated in week-long mission trips to repair the homes of low income, disabled and elderly residents through the Group Workcamp program.

We also organize more informal fellowship for our youth through activities such as attending a movie night, getting together for a barbecue, pumpkin carving, navigating a corn maze or spending an afternoon scaling the walls at an indoor rock climbing facility.
