The Third Sunday in Lent

WE WELCOME all our visitors and invite all baptized Christians to the Lord’s Table. Nursery care for infants and toddlers up to and including age 2 is available, starting at 9:45 a.m. on the lower level. Take the stairs down, turn right, second door on the left. To learn more about the Church of Our Saviour, please complete the pew card and put it in the offering plate or give it to an usher.  Please join us for coffee and fellowship in the Akerman Room (same level) following the 8 a.m. service, and in the Undercroft (lower level) following the 10 a.m. service.

PLEASE PRAY for all those who are serving in the armed forces.

THE CHILDREN’S CHOIR will rehearse today following the 10 a.m. service.

HOLY EUCHARIST on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. followed by a brown bag lunch with Bible study.

“WHERE GOD HAPPENS” – Our Monday evening Lenten series continues tomorrow starting with a soup and bread supper at 6:30 p.m.  Please sign up outside the kitchen to bring soup or bread.

ALPHA will meet this coming Wednesday starting with dinner at 6:30 p.m.  “How Can I Be Sure of My Faith?” will be the topic for our discussion.

LENTEN DAY OF REFLECTION: Women of the church are invited to participate in a service of Lenten prayers and reflection this coming Saturday, March 13 at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Weare.   There is no charge for the soup and bread lunch, but a free will offering will be collected.  Coffee will be served at 9:30 a.m. with the service to follow at 10:00 a.m..  There is a sign up sheet in the Narthex.  We will carpool from the church at 9:00 a.m.

COFFEE HOUR HOSTS are needed following the 8:00 am service on March 21 & 28, and hosts for both 8:00 am & 10:00 am services on April 11, 18 and 25. Please consider hosting on one of these dates with your family or friends.  You don’t need to do it on your own. Coffee/tea are handled by the Hospitality Committee for both services. A CELEBRATION OF MUTUAL MINISTRY:  A New Way Forward Together”:  Next Sunday we will have a single 4:00 p.m. service (supplanting both morning services), followed by a potluck supper.  Canon Charles LaFond and the Rev. Celeste Hemingson will be with us to help us liturgically mark our transition from the “discovery” phase of our Conflict Transformation process to the “action” phase.  Come and celebrate!
